Job Number: SMRUSE02 - Database Administrator
Salary $ 69000
Location: Bethesda
Job Description: 25% hands on, 75% logical data modeling/data admin. The
database administrator is responsible for coordinating all database and
data administration activities for headquarters. Creates and maintains
definition of operational and dimensional data at headquarters to
support new database design efforts. Provides database project
management. Acts as lead analyst in all business process improvement
projects. Oversees and facilitates all database design activities.
Develops and maintains an integrated information FoxPro dimensional data
model/data dictionary in conjunction with the Information FoxPro team.
Provides database support for all related activities. Establishes data
standards. Ensures data integrity across all databases at HQ. Supervises
production DBA staff.
Qualifications: BS, Computer Science or related field and 3+ years
experience with relational database administration and data
administration. 3+ years of application development experience.
Experience with process improvement projects. 

Job Number: WAW0023 - Title: Project Manager (FoxPro)
$ 72000    Location: Towson
Job Description: Will support the Marketing and Sales function of the
FoxProories Division. Support will include: new pricing support; year
2000 compliance; educating the group members on what IS support can do
for them; maintenance of the current system and it's interface with the
Main Frame; ad-hoc IS support to the group. Eventually (after first 90
days) new development of database front end to make use of Point Of Sale
information provided by customers to the Sales and Marketing staff.
Other projects anticipated will involve SAP and supply chain activites
applications development in a client server environment. It is a large
corporate culture but a small internal department so you have the best
of both worlds - day to day small group dynamics but the exposure and
opportunity that comes from FoxPro to large corporate resources. There
will be a great degree of autonomy with regard to what IS support is
provided and the direction that it takes (you are the Guru of IS to the
group). It is an opportunity to see and be involved in the entire scope
of the business world (new pricing, forcasting, product development,
market strategy, etc.).
Qualifications: Project management skills and experience programming in
MS FoxPro. Prefer: Experience with manufacturing and /or marketing
environment.
