How Wide Do Your Fields Need to Be?

This program runs on your ACT! or any DBF file, and scans through the records for each field. When complete, it displays a chart showing how wide you need for each field, based on the current contents.

You can see if there are fields that are wasting space, with unused bytes. Then you have the numbers necessary for you to modify the structure to narrow them, without losing any data. You can "trim" down your datafile in size, and help it run faster.
