Special Operations

NOTE: Please back up your database before performing any special operations

We can accommodate your particular needs, in addition to the Standard Options. 

• Before or After the phone number insert an exclamation point (!), tilde (~) or other mark

• Insert any mark, such as "DNC", in another field, such as the Phone Extension

• Browse the file, looking only at the records that have numbers on the DNC list

• Delete the number from the record, leaving a blank in the Phone field

• Delete the entire record from the database file, including name and address

• Export the records to another database file in the same format

• Group the records, calling it the "DoNotCall" group

• Log a report of the numbers that are on the DNC list

• Undo the changes just made, if you change your mind

• Import the latest DNC list updates easily, and automatically

• Automatically checks for Area Codes, based on City and State

For example, you may want a phone number found on the Do Not Call list to be:

• Reverse the digits on the number, so you know them, but will not accidentally dial them

• Encrypt the phone numbers, using a simple code, or in to alphabetical letters

•  Put DNC as the area code

• Export the entire record, including related records in other tables, to another DNC database
  for example to another ACT! or Goldmine database

• Create a "Call" list of who to call before midnight October 1, 2003

• Merge Do Not Call lists of your own creation, or State lists, with the National DNC list
