Flea Market-Auto Bazaar

On Sunday, April 14 our section will hold its Annual Auto Bazaar, Flea Market and Car Show. It will again be held at the Marriott International Headquarters Building located within the I-270 spur located at the northwest corner of the Washington Beltway (I-495). If you are on the inner loop of 495, take Democracy Boulevard exit east about a half mile. Marriott is on Fernwood on the left. If you are on outer loop of 495, get off at the Old Georgetown Road (exit 36 north) and make a left on Democracy at the Wildwood Shopping Center.

This event begins at 10:00am and runs all day. Admission is free to all members and the general public. Coffee and donuts will be on sale for early arrivals and, beginning at around noon, Chefs Tom and Tom will tempt you with German-style hamburgers and some tempting varieties of wurst. So, it’s time to clean out the basement and garage of all those unwanted cars, parts, tires and wheels, and other Mercedes-Benz related stuff. Pack it all up in the G-Wagen and bring it to the Flea Market. But first call Chuck and reserve a spot for your store. Vendors and car sellers are all very welcome.

The winners of the Car Show are selected by popular vote of the attendees. In the event of rain, we will move the Car Show and all vendors into the covered garage area. The costs of the event are modest: $20 to display a car for sale; $10 per space for vending ($20 with a table provided); and, $10 to enter your car in the show. Please contact Chuck Landenberger at 703-204-1060 for additional information on vendor space and the Car Show.
