* Senior Programmer Analyst. Led team of programmers at Primus telecommunications billing system from Visual FoxPro to MS SQL Server. Designed and implemented system to log all environmental information during system errors for quick resolution. Programmed system to enable billing system supervisors to monitor various settings and make adjustments from one workstation. Wrote stored procedures. * Senior Developer. Led team of programmers in upgrade, from dBase system into FoxPro, for managing GEBA government employee benefits association and pensions. Managed their simultaneous updates of various modules in a payroll system. Overhauled and simplified complex calculation procedures. Made system information, reports and invoices easier to read.
* Developed Access database and programs for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) at Fort Meade (NSA)
* Chief Programmer in the design and coding of a FoxPro database system for the Federal Telephone System FTS Aggregate Cost Tracking System (FACTS) for AT&T. FoxPro standalone executable. Major software package for implementation of Activity Based Costing, tracking hours worked by project, down to the function and task level. Tied system into hourly reporting system using FTP to VMS based system. System is taking on more of the functions which required an expensive mainframe system, all being done on desktop computer. Development of training material, Training for users, developing testing schedules and strategies.
* Programming, revision and upgrade of Procurement Tracking System (PTS) for NASA. Subcontracted under Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for design, analysis, and implementation PTS. FoxPro for Windows and Macintosh standalone executables. Multi-user application running on both Novell Netware and Microsoft LAN Manager integrated with 10 Macintosh users with AppleTalk. Provided continued LAN support in testing new technologies, implementing user requests and troubleshooting
* Upgrade and conversion of dBase programs to Microsoft FoxPro and Access for Walter Reed Army Medical Center, as Project Manager involved in the design, installation, and fine tuning of 10 node LAN/WAN network for the US Army Office of Research Management. Managed a team of programmers through the completion of the contract, which was completed ahead of schedule. Installed system to enable Institute of Retrovirology in Gaithersburg to access database at WRAMC in DC. Implemented techniques to convert between WordPerfect and Word. Converted thousands of files from Macintosh platforms to Microsoft Windows based platforms for US Army locations in Brazil and Kenya. Developed material for training users on using network utilities, productivity software, and database applications. Trained database administrators.
