For your writing you can establish a blog for free

Go to www.WordPress.com
Then click the orange "Getting Started" button.
Enter your email address and pick a name, such as YourName.WordPress.com
Select "Free Blog"
You will get an email to respond to.
Then click "Create your own website"
Select a Theme, and select Free templates (you can change later) then Activate
Then on the left, select Posts, then Add New
Then type to your heart's content.
