Student Internship Program

The CIC Student Internship Course is designed to introduce students to the application software used in business and large organizations. The course covers two semesters, over a 10 month period.

Objectives

Learn the application software that is used in business.
In particular, Microsoft Office for Windows:
Access
Excel
Outlook
PowerPoint
Word
Edit information, correcting and adding data
New entries and delete unwanted records
Customize the software
Printing issues
Use the Internet
Lookup information by constructing your own criteria
Working more efficiently with a computer
Progress reports
Recording time spent

The goal is to learn how organizations make maximum use of their software to make maximum use of time.
