This course showcases a variety of Windows applications for file management, word processing, desktop publishing, presentation graphics, database, spreadsheets, and project management, network applications, and more.

All Windows applications share a common user interface that offers a more natural, intuitive way to work. When you learn to use one Windows application, you are well on your way to learning them all, to be more productive in less time.

Access Microsoft Windows and the Program Manager

Understand the icons: Main, Accessories, Applications, and Games

Launch various Applications from within Windows

Understand the Main icons: File Manager, Control Panel, Print Manager, Clipboard, DOS Prompt, and Windows Setup

Use the Windows Accessories, such as Write, Paintbrush, Terminal, Notepad, Recorder, Cardfile, Calendar, Calculator, Clock, PIF Editor

Copy, Rename, and Delete files with the File Manager

Cut and Paste text and graphics among different documents

Customize defaults, such as colors, and grouping software within Windows
