You will need 12 megabytes (MB) of Random Access Memory (RAM) if you are using Novell Netware. See your reference manual for hardware considerations that apply to your specific hardware setup. In addition, you will need a mouse to run this course, and floppy disk drive if you want to complete the topic on the Novell Netware file system in the course.

Course description

Overview: Students will learn about the Novell Netware operating system, and its network and security features. Also student will learn how to use the Mail and Schedule + applications, the Chat accessory, the Clip Book, the

Novell Netware file system, and resource sharing. Prerequisites: Orientation and Windows Advanced User or equivalent knowledge.

Delivery method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Benefits: Students will learn how to work with the Novell Netware operating system, its networking capabilities; and security features in the user environment.

Target student: Students enrolling in this course should understand the basic concepts involved in working with a personal computer (PC) and advanced knowledge of Windows application software. No knowledge of Novell Netware is required.
