This course covers business graphics on the IBM PC, allowing the student to gain hands-on experience in producing various types of slides and transparencies used for presentations. A variety of graphics software and hardware is featured including Sign-Master, Chart-Master, Execuvision, Energraphics, 35-MM Express, PBS Quick-Slide, Graphix Partner, and Grafwriter. Principles of slide layout and effective slide presentation are explained as well.

* Understand the ability of each type of software to

create the desired slide;

* Decide which software to use with a typical slide or

transparency to produce the most effective results for

specific purposes;

* Use the polaroid palette, six-pen plotter, and color

printers; and

* Produce various types of slides and transparencies

for effective business presentations.

Target Audience: This course is useful for professional, managerial and administrative personnel at all levels. Familarity with the basics of microcomputer use is not required.
